I hadn't even seen a wink of this series until today. Holy shit. I think I've been dreaming for a cartoon like this all my life.
Your animation style, in all respects; reminds me of John R. Dilworth (He's the guy behind Courage the Cowardly Dog) except a lot more gorey and grimy. And hey; the art might not always be proportionate, but your characters, attention to detailed gore, and overall hilarity make up for that.
And I'm never laughed to much at any person or thing beating each other up. Cage and Alice really DO have chemistry.. just not the kind we see in romantic comedies.
And I agree with what these folks here have said.. You EFFING need a TV show. I'd watch it. Every day.
thank you very, very. i'm usually dreaming when i make these. i don't adhere to proportions too much, because it adds to the weirdness. in episode 7 i mess with the proportions a lot. i don't know if i want a tv show, though. i hate bosses.

It's always a bit of a let-down for me when I realize that a well-written, nicely laid-out cartoon is just a stinkin' little junk-food advert. In a sense.

I love a movie where you learn to love the characters within seconds of "meeting" them for the first time. That's a great feature this delivers.
Khale is adorable. I'd buy a sticker or shirt with his cute little face on it any day of the week. And I think I'm in love with his dad. Nice voice, whoever you are!
Well, honestly, that's all I can think of. One main problem I had was this sort of.. lack of moving parts on their tree/aircraft.. Just felt like a souless picture being tweened. Get some leaves falling off that thing; maybe that would help.

In love with this flash, one of the first flashes to REALLY make me scared as hell. I felt like I was relapsing on LSD even though I've never ingested a drug in my life.

Yeah that thumbnail trick was a bit nasty. Some people just simply weren't expecting images of babies being cut in half.

Actually, I thought this was pretty darned funny! Overall, the story was very cute, and though the scenes were pretty predictable, I thought this flash was very kind-hearted and silly.
A few gripes. The animation was a bit stiff at times, yet fluid at others.. but you're probably still working on finding what kind of style fits you best. The character animation was a bit choppy, and the art was a bit grimey-looking.. For instance, them driving in the car was mostly a fugly-looking tween and a moving background that looked sort-of like vomit. Nothing against you.. but You might want to match a tween with a tween instead of trying to mix frame by frame with a non-moving graphic.
Finally, the voices got a bit confusing because of the dense accent. At least, in the first scene, when our main man says "what did I do to deserve this?" I had no clue what he had said, and missed the the punchline the first time I watched. Her angry reaction pieced together what he had said, but you get my point. Make sure the Voices are really clear, especially with the punchline!

And I tried hard with the accent to make it less... well Scottish so people could understand it better. I failed lol...
And yeah, I know I slacked... I should have worked on it longer than I did so I had the time to do things.

I know I'm not the first person to say: "Man, I thought this was really going to suck."
Boy, did you prove me wrong. I think the primary turn off had to be the scruffy.. "unclean" figures and disproportionate animation. To save yourself from a big flaw like that, you'd have to put both your heart and soul into your animation, and totally ACE your overall vision.
Dude. You freaking NAILED it.
I LOVED the characters. LOVED the voices. The stats were also very tedious too, you can tell you put some real thought into each character's fighting style, attitude, and overall manner. And the Fighting combos were both outstandingly innovative and HILARIOUS. There were literally times where I was sobbing with laughter, while others had me gnawing my teeth with pain. Yes, I could feel the pain and the skull-crushing blows each character delivered to poor little Ryu.
I felt that kick in the balls. And I don't even HAVE balls.
My favorite fights were DEFINITELY Aaron's fight, along with Adil and Berns's part. Best use of that infamous soundclip I have EVER seen, and the FRESHMEN Fight made me want to cover my ass.
I love this flash, love what you've done.. and I can't give you anything lower than a 10. You were in your full element with this-- 100% pure entertainment.
It's not about the drawings anymore.. it's about the fun.
